(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of July 23rd, according to Mr. Tran Van Quy, Deputy Head of the Dien Van Commune Police, Dien Chau District, a drowning incident occurred in the area, resulting in the deaths of two 9th-grade students.

The family and local authorities are working to find the remaining body.

The victims were two boys, Hoang Ly Huynh and Ha Dinh Nang (both born in 2000), residing in Dong Ha hamlet, Dien Van commune, Dien Chau district.According to initial information, at around 6 PM on July 23rd, three students, Hoang Ly Huynh, Ha Dinh Nang, and Phan Van Bun, after finishing their volleyball game, went swimming in the Vech Bac River section flowing through Dong Ha hamlet, Dien Van commune.While bathing, Huynh and Nang were submerged and swept away by the water.But Bun escaped unharmed.The shore cries for help.Seeing this, the villagers jumped in to rescue the children, but Nang and Huynh were swept away by the water.At around 8:45 PM, Huynh's body was found, while Nang was still being searched for.

It is known that Huynh is the eldest son in a family of two siblings. He has a younger sister. At the time of the accident, Huynh's father, Hoang Van Khiem (49 years old), was in Laos and had not yet returned.
