(Baonghean.vn) -While returning from their exercise routine, due to carelessness while crossing the road, Ms. Hong and her child were hit by a car, resulting in Ms. Hong's death and her child sustaining serious injuries.
At approximately 6:45 PM on August 20th, on Phan Dang Luu Street (Vinh City, Nghe An Province), Ms. Ta Thi Anh Hong (born in 1952) and her son, Dau Dinh Tuan (born in 1981, residing at 18 Phan Dang Luu Street), were crossing the road after exercising when they were hit by a car with license plate 37S-9500 driven by Nguyen Van Man (born in 1951, residing in Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City) traveling in the direction of Phan Dang Luu - Ho Tung Mau Street. Ms. Hong was thrown onto the hood of the car before falling to the ground and becoming unconscious, while Tuan suffered a broken leg from being run over by the car.
Immediately afterwards, the driver and others took the victim to the hospital, but Ms. Hong died on the way to the emergency room. Right after the accident occurred, the traffic police of Vinh City Police Department arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
At 8 PM the same day, the forensic department handed over Ms. Hong's body to her family for burial.
