Previously, at around 9:30 a.m. on September 22, while on duty on the Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway, the Traffic Police Department of Bac Giang Province Police received a report that a car with blue license plate 80B-3487 was suspected of using an illegal license plate, so they quickly deployed a plan to stop it.
When reaching Km 109+200 of National Highway 1A, the car was going in the opposite direction at high speed. When seeing the traffic police, the driver suddenly changed direction and entered Provincial Road 295B towards the center of Bac Giang City.
The task force continued to follow the car to avoid losing track, and requested additional support. When the car stopped at Tho Xuong Ward, Bac Giang City, the traffic police quickly approached and initially observed that the blue license plate 80B-3487 was laminated with the white license plate 98H-3487, and asked the driver to bring the car to the headquarters for questioning.

At the police station, the driver showed signs of fear when the traffic police checked his documents according to regulations. Immediately after, he suddenly picked up a package of white crystals resembling methamphetamine and tried to throw it out, but was discovered by the police.
During the search, traffic police seized a total of three plastic bags containing white crystals weighing about 30 grams, a blue ecstasy-like tablet, and a wallet containing 6.8 million VND.
Checking the documents, this person's wallet contained two identity cards, two driver's licenses, a Transport Inspector card, a Transport Inspection card, many stamped documents from the Transport sector and 6 membership cards of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, all issued to Nguyen Van Quynh.
Initially, Bac Giang City Police verified that all of Quynh's personal documents were forged to deceive authorities.
Currently, the Traffic Police have handed over all the suspects, exhibits and vehicles to the Bac Giang City Police. The police are also expanding the investigation into the suspect who assisted in forging documents of state agencies.
