Motorcyclist caused accident for old lady then ran away

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 5:30 p.m. on August 14, at km90+250m of National Highway 48 in Ta Lanh Village, Chau Hanh Commune, Quy Chau, a traffic accident occurred, causing an old woman to be hospitalized in critical condition.

According to witnesses, the victim was Ms. Vi Thi Chinh, residing in Minh Tien village, Chau Hanh commune, Quy Chau. At the time, Ms. Chinh was walking in the direction of Que Phong - Quy Hop when she was suddenly hit from behind by an Exciter motorbike driven by a woman, traveling in the same direction as Ms. Chinh.

The strong collision caused Ms. Chinh to fall onto the road, and the motorcyclist ran away.

The victim was taken to the Quy Chau District General Hospital by local residents. Because it was getting dark, local residents could not clearly see the license plate of the motorbike that caused the accident.

Quy Chau Traffic Police were present at the scene to clarify the incident./.
