List of fireworks display locations for Lunar New Year 2025 in Tien Giang

To welcome the New Year of the Snake 2025, 8 out of 11 districts, cities and towns in Tien Giang province have registered to display low-altitude fireworks, including My Tho City, Go Cong City, Cai Lay Town, Cai Be, Cho Gao, Go Cong Tay, Go Cong Dong and Tan Phu Dong districts.

Of which, Cai Be and Go Cong Tay districts registered to fire fireworks with about 60 sets. Units of My Tho City, Go Cong City, Cai Lay Town, Cho Gao District, Go Cong Dong and Tan Phu Dong registered to fire fireworks with about 90 sets.

Details of fireworks display locations are as follows:

- My Tho city, shooting location at Hung Vuong Square;

- Go Cong City, shooting location at the City Culture - Sports and Broadcasting Center;

- Cai Lay town, shooting location in commercial residential area;

- Cai Be District, shooting location at Hau Phu 1 Residential Area;

- Cho Gao District, shooting location at the District Culture - Sports and Broadcasting Center;

- Go Cong Tay district, shooting location at the district's Culture - Sports and Broadcasting Center;

- Go Cong Dong District, shooting location at the District Culture - Sports and Broadcasting Center

- Tan Phu Dong District, shooting location at District Administrative Center.

Firework time is 15 minutes, from 0:00 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025 (ie New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year of At Ty).

Tien Giang Provincial Military Command has gathered and registered a contract with a fireworks manufacturing unit.

Funding for fireworks displays is mobilized from local communities.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee has decided to assign Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dieu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as Head of the Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Quy - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command as Permanent Deputy Head of the Committee; Mr. Nguyen Minh Tan - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police as Deputy Head of the Committee.

The members are leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Finance, Department of Information and Communications, People's Committee of My Tho city, People's Committee of Go Cong city, People's Committee of Cai Lay town, People's Committee of Cai Be district, People's Committee of Cho Gao district, People's Committee of Go Cong Tay district, People's Committee of Tan Phu Dong district and People's Committee of Go Cong Dong district. The Standing Organizing Committee is located at the Military Command of Tien Giang province.

The Organizing Committee is responsible for advising on the organization of low-altitude fireworks displays in the province (in registered and approved localities) on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 in accordance with regulations, ensuring safety, security, order and fire and explosion prevention and control. Develop specific plans and contracts for the purchase and supply of fireworks; direct and provide technical guidance to localities that have registered for low-altitude fireworks displays.
