Air conditioning repair service attracts customers in hot season

These days, the temperature has risen to 40 degrees Celsius, causing people's demand for air conditioning to increase rapidly. Therefore, the need for installing, cleaning, pumping gas or repairing air conditioners in households has increased dramatically.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan in Hung Dung Ward, Vinh City complained: "I contacted several repair shops but had to wait because the workers were fully booked. With the weather nearing 40 degrees Celsius, the air conditioner was on forever but not cooling, making everyone in the house uncomfortable. Every time I repaired an electrical appliance, it only took 2 days to receive it, but this time there were so many customers that I had to wait a whole week before the shop called to pick it up."

In the same situation as Ms. Loan, Mr. Nguyen The Hoa in Hung Binh ward also had to spend several days looking for an air conditioner maintenance technician. “My air conditioner was not cool when turned on, only the fan was running. The weather was hot, so I called an air conditioner repair shop but they refused. I couldn’t wait any longer, so I asked an acquaintance to introduce an outside technician. Although the price was nearly 100,000 VND higher, I still accepted it,” Mr. Hoa shared.

Research at some refrigeration repair facilities in Vinh city shows that this service starts to become busy from April every year onwards, peaking on hot days in June and July.

Mr. Lam, the owner of an air conditioning repair and sales store on Le Loi Street, said: “During the hot season, my store has up to 6 employees but still cannot keep up with the customers. The number of customers requesting air conditioner maintenance is scheduled from the beginning of the week to the middle of the following week. During peak times, the store maintains 10-20 air conditioners per day. The workload is high, customers call continuously but the service price remains stable.”

Mr. Hung in Hung Loc commune - a skilled worker shared: "The number of customers has increased dramatically in the past few days, so I have to work at full capacity to serve customers. Every day, more than 10 people call for repairs and gas pumping. Sometimes customers call continuously, making me have to refuse because I can't keep up. I'm so busy that I don't have time to eat lunch or rest."

It is known that the price of machine cleaning and gas checking services is about 100,000 VND/set; additional gas refilling is 80,000 - 100,000 VND/machine; installation, disassembly and transfer is 300,000 - 350,000 VND/set depending on the terrain...
