The benchmark score for 10th grade specialized classes in Hanoi has the highest score of 42.75. But there are also classes that only require an average score of 4.8 points per subject.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training officially announced the 10th grade benchmark scores at four specialized schools on the afternoon of July 4, with scores ranging from 24 to 42.75 out of a total of 50.

The Chemistry Specialized Class of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted (Ams) has the highest score of 42.75 points. Candidates who want to be admitted to this class must achieve an average of 8.55 points per subject.

The second highest admission threshold this year is for the English major class, also at Ams, with 41.15 points. This school also has a Physics major class with an admission threshold of over 40 points.

Of the remaining three schools, only the specialized Chemistry class of Chu Van An specialized school has a benchmark score of 40 points, the rest are below this threshold.

The History class of Son Tay High School for the Gifted has the lowest entrance score, only 24 points, or an average of 4.8 points per subject.

Admission score is calculated by the total score of Math, Literature and Foreign Language, plus specialized subject score multiplied by two, with a maximum total score of 50.
