The 2017/18 Champions League Round of 16 has just passed with 8 names confirmed to have won tickets to the quarter-finals.

Early morning of March 15 (Vietnam time), Barcelona hosted Chelsea at Nou Camp in the second leg of the 1/8 round of the UEFA Champions League 2017/18 season.

Lionel Messi's brilliant performance with a double against Courtois brought an impressive 3-0 victory, thereby helping Barca win the final ticket to the round of 8 strongest clubs in Europe.

Messi helped Barcelona win the last ticket to the Champions League quarter-finals.

Just before that, Bayern Munich also easily won the ticket to the most prestigious European club tournament, after defeating Besiktas with 3-1 and a total score of 8-1 after two matches.

With such destructive power, the Bavarian "Gray Tigers", along with Barca and Real Madrid, are the top candidates for the semi-final ticket and the championship this season.

In the quarter-finals, English football has only two representatives, Liverpool and Man City, after Tottenham, Man Utd and Chelsea could not overcome their opponents in the round of 16.

Spain has three places in the quarter-finals: defending champions Real Madrid, Barcelona and Sevilla after surprisingly defeating Man Utd. Italian football also has two clubs advancing: Juventus and AS Roma.

As planned, the quarter-final draw will take place at 11:00 a.m. on March 16 (local time, 6:00 p.m. on March 16 Vietnam time) at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

The first leg of the quarter-finals is scheduled to take place on April 3 and 4. The second leg will take place a week later.
