Nghe An has a rich system of cultural and historical relics. The following are the Spring festivals of At Ty in Nghe An.
King Mai Temple Festival
Time: February 10 - February 12, 2025 (ie January 13 to 15 of the Lunar calendar). Location: King Mai's tomb, King Mai's temple - Nam Dan town; King Mai's mother's tomb - Nghia Thai commune and related relics of Nam Dan district.
To commemorate and show gratitude to King Mai Hac De, Mai Thieu De and the generals, every year, the government and people of Nam Dan district solemnly organize a festival at the King Mai temple relic.

This year, the festival includes many exciting activities imbued with the nation's fine traditional identity with the spirit of martial arts and solidarity such as: boat racing, wrestling, chess and folk games, volleyball matches...
Ca Temple Festival
Time: February 11 to February 13, 2025 (ie January 14 to 16 of the Lunar calendar). Location: Ca Temple, Hoa Thanh town, Yen Thanh district.
The Ca Temple relic is an ancient architectural work built during the Le Dynasty. The temple not only has beautiful architecture but is also famous for its sacredness, worshiping gods who have contributed to protecting the country and the people such as Cao Son - Cao Cac, Uy Minh Vuong Ly Nhat Quang, Bach Y princess; and worshiping the ancestors of the great families in the region.
The ceremony includes: Opening ceremony, Announcement ceremony; Procession ceremony; Rally ceremony; Grand ceremony: Incense offering ceremony and thanksgiving ceremony are solemnly organized according to local traditional customs.
The festival includes activities: Men's and women's stick pushing competition; Women's volleyball competition; Drum exchange between clans in the district; Men's and women's tug of war competition; Chess and card games and art competitions between hamlets... attracting enthusiastic participation from all walks of life.
Con Temple Festival
Time: February 16 to February 18, 2025 (ie January 19 to 21 of the lunar calendar). Location: Con Temple, Quynh Phuong Ward, Hoang Mai Town.
Con Temple Festival is one of the traditional festivals recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage. The festival, which has a strong coastal identity, is held annually to commemorate the Four Holy Ladies - goddesses who protect and bless people to prosper in business and overcome danger.

This year's Con Temple Festival has many unique activities in the ritual and festival parts, including the opening ceremony, the proclamation ceremony, the opening ceremony, the fish praying ceremony, the offering ceremony, the great offering ceremony and the thanksgiving ceremony; the bird contest, art performances, sports competitions such as boat racing, stick pushing, volleyball, tug of war and traditional local folk games...
Qua Son Temple Festival
Time: February 16-17, 2025 (ie January 19-20 of the Lunar calendar). Location: Qua Son Temple, Boi Son Commune, Do Luong District.
Qua Son Temple is one of the four most sacred temples in Nghe An: “first Con, second Qua, third Bach Ma, fourth Chieu Trung”. The temple is the place to worship Uy Minh Vuong Ly Nhat Quang - a district governor who made great contributions to building Nghe An and expanding and protecting the country's borders.

The highlight of the Temple Festival is the procession to thank Lady But at Lady But Pagoda, also known as Tien Tich Tu, located 4 km west of the temple in Bach Ngoc Commune. According to legend, Lady But was the one who often helped Ly Nhat Quang in governing the country and was the one who showed him the place of transformation and sainthood at the foot of Qua Mountain.
Van Temple Festival - Cua Rao
Time: February 17 - February 19, 2025 (ie January 20 to 22 of the Lunar calendar). Location: Van Temple, Cua Rao 2 village, Xa Luong commune, Tuong Tuong district.
Van - Cua Rao Temple is located in Xa Luong commune, a three-river land where the Nam Non and Nam Mo rivers converge. This sacred temple is associated with the career and merit of Doan Nhu Hai (Tran dynasty) - a General who sacrificed his life on this land to protect the country, the border and the people's lives.

The festival is an occasion to commemorate the merits of the gods worshiped at the temple and pray for national peace and prosperity, favorable weather, bountiful harvests, peaceful villages, and prosperity for all. During the festival, sports and folk games take place in a lively and exciting atmosphere.
Hang Bua Festival
Time: February 17 - February 19, 2025 (ie January 20 to 22 of the lunar calendar). Location: Chieng Ngam Temple and Bua Cave, Bua Village, Chau Tien Commune, Quy Chau District.
Hang Bua Festival is a traditional festival of ethnic minorities in Quy Chau district in particular and the Northwest region of Nghe An in general, to commemorate the merits of those who founded the village. The ceremony is held at Chieng Ngam Temple and the festival is held at Bua Cave, Bua Village, Chau Tien Commune.

Hang Bua Festival is organized according to the customs of the Thai people, always ensuring solemnity, safety and economy, attracting a large number of people from all walks of life and tourists from all over the world to participate.
Pu Nha Thau Festival
Time: February 21-22, 2025 (ie January 24-25 of the Lunar calendar). Location: Pu Nha Thau Temple, Na Luong village, Huu Kiem commune, Ky Son district.
Pu Nha Thau Temple is associated with legends and stories passed down among the people. It is a place to worship General Doan Nhu Hai, Mau Thuong Ngan and gods who have contributed to protecting the country and people...

Nguyen Xi Temple Festival

Nguyen Xi Temple Festival is an opportunity for the people and descendants of the Nguyen Dinh family to express their respect and remembrance of the nation's outstanding mandarin, contributing to educating the spirit of patriotism and national pride for generations, while also contributing to preserving and promoting national cultural values.

Duc Hoang Temple Festival
Time: February 25 - February 28, 2025 (ie January 28 to February 1 of the Lunar calendar). Location: Duc Hoang Temple, Phuc Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District.
The national historical and cultural relic Duc Hoang Temple is a place to worship Sat Hai Dai Vuong Hoang Ta Thon, a talented swimmer and martial arts general who made great contributions in the resistance war against the invading Yuan-Mongol army in the 13th century.

Thanh Liet Temple Festival
Time: March 4-5, 2025 (ie February 5-6 of the Lunar calendar). Location: Thanh Liet Temple, Xuan Lam Commune, Hung Nguyen District.
Thanh Liet Temple is located on the bank of Lam River and was built in the post-Le Dynasty to worship the gods who have contributed to protecting the country and the people, especially the gods associated with the river region: Long Vuong, Ha Ba, Sat Hai Dai Vuong Hoang Ta Thon, Nguyen Bieu, Son Lieu Doc Cuoc...

Thanh Liet Temple Festival is an occasion for traditional folk cultural activities bearing the mark of fishermen in the downstream area of Lam River. The special feature of the festival is the procession of the gods and praying for fish on the river. The festival is recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Vac village festival
Time: March 6 - March 8, 2025 (ie February 7 to 9 of the Lunar calendar). Location: Vac village archaeological site, Long Son ward, Thai Hoa town.
Vac Village Festival is an opportunity for local people to return to their roots; at the same time, it demonstrates the spirit of community solidarity, educates awareness of protecting, preserving relics, conserving and promoting traditional cultural and historical values.

This year's Lang Vac Festival will be held solemnly and meaningfully, worthy of the cultural and historical values of Lang Vac Relic Site, truly a cultural activity imbued with the beliefs and spirituality of the ethnic groups in Western Nghe An.
Bach Ma Temple Festival
Time: March 7 - March 9, 2025 (ie February 8 to 10 of the Lunar calendar). Location: Bach Ma Temple, Kim Bang Commune, Thanh Chuong District.
Bach Ma Temple Festival is held to commemorate and pay tribute to the great general Phan Da - a general who made great contributions to helping the Lam Son army in the resistance war against the invading Ming army.

The ceremony took place solemnly, the festival took place with exciting cultural and sports activities, attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate, including men's volleyball competition, folk games: wrestling, pot smashing, chess, volleyball, tug of war...
Choong Temple Festival
Time: March 10-11, 2025 (ie February 11-12 of the Lunar calendar). Location: Choong Bung village, Chau Ly commune, Quy Hop district.
The Choong Temple Festival is an opportunity for the Thai ethnic people in the Northwest region of Nghe An to remember their roots and to remember the merits of a girl named Nang Phom Hom (Thai for Fragrant Hair) - who made great contributions to helping the Lam Son army defeat the Ming invaders in the 15th century.
In addition to the ceremony including: proclamation ceremony, buffalo surrender, procession of the sacred cross, great sacrifice ceremony and thanksgiving ceremony, the festival has an art exchange program with traditional folk singing and dancing performances, imbued with the identity of the Thai, Tho and other regions.
Cuong Temple Festival
Location: Cuong Temple, Dien An Commune, Dien Chau District. Time: March 13 - 14, 2025 (ie February 14 to 15 of the Lunar calendar)
Cuong Temple is located on Mo Da Mountain, worshiping Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong - the successor of King Hung who led the Lac Viet people to fight against Qin and Trieu in the 3rd century BC. The temple also worships gods who have contributed to protecting the country and the people.

The highlight of the festival is the procession of the palanquin of King Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong and Princess My Chau. In addition, there are activities such as camping, volleyball tournament, ca tru singing, and display of local OCOP products...
Nine-Room Temple Festival
Time: March 13 - March 14, 2025 (ie February 14 to 15 of the Lunar calendar). Location: Chin Gian Temple, Chau Kim Commune, Que Phong District.
Chin Gian Temple is a place to worship Then Pha (heaven), Nang Xi Da (daughter of heaven) and Tao Lo Y - who is considered to have the first merit in opening the land according to the Thai people's concept. Chin Gian Temple Festival is recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The Nine-Room Temple Festival takes place with many activities imbued with the cultural identity of the highland people such as buffalo sacrifice ceremony, procession ceremony, cultural exchange, folk games...
Ru Gam Temple Festival
Time: March 12 - March 14, 2025 (ie February 13 to 15 of the Lunar calendar). Location: Ru Gam Temple, Xuan Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District.
Gam Temple and Pagoda are located in the same campus, an ancient and sacred relic complex with beautiful and unique architecture with sophisticated carvings, demonstrating ingenuity and sophistication.
