The US Army recently began distributing new M17 and M18 pistols to soldiers in the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell in Kentucky.
The Army has a lot of weapons available to its soldiers. Business Insider has compiled a list of standard-issue weapons that individual soldiers are using. That said, the list does not include the Javelin anti-tank missile system, which requires more than one soldier to operate. The list also does not include non-standard-issue weapons.
