- Returning to the screen after many years of absence and becoming famous again like when she starred in "Vang Anh's Diary" 17 years ago, is Diem Hang overwhelmed?

This comeback reminds me of my youth when I first started acting. The feeling is quite similar to the old days but of course 17 years ago, the media was not as explosive as it is now so I was a bit overwhelmed by the attention from the press. - Diem Hang said 17 years ago when "Nhat ky Vang Anh" aired, she received sacks of letters. But now the audience's response is real-time and immediate on social networks. Surely you feel that the reception from viewers after 17 years is very different? Diem Hang still retains the same "elated" feeling as before?

It was like I was being courted by a traditional guy and a modern guy. The modern guy was faster and had more tricks because in addition to the mainstream media, there was Facebook, YouTube, TikTok... and the interaction was almost instantaneous.

Therefore, now we also have to follow the taste, steer the content of the film in the direction that viewers want. Therefore, the opinion of the audience is very important in deciding whether a film is successful or not. The film has just been broadcast and receives feedback within a few minutes, while in the past actors could receive letters from the audience after many days and always feel excited. I think each time has its own advantages.

Manh Quan's wife knows that there will never be a spring when he and I will love each other in real life.

- So how has the interaction with co-star Manh Quan changed after 18 years since filming "Nhat ky Vang Anh"? Before, Quan was young and unmarried, but now he is a father of 2 children. When acting together, is Diem Hang afraid of her co-star's wife?

Quan and I, in addition to filming together, are also friends in real life. We still go out for coffee. I also hang out with Quan's wife and recently she even gave me a dress for my birthday. She understands and trusts Quan and Hang because she knows for sure that "there is no spring" when the two of them will fall in love in real life. Quan and I are very compatible but we cannot develop feelings because he is not my type.

However, at work, every time I work with Mr. Quan, I really enjoy it. He is a creative co-star, not only does he do his role well but also helps his co-stars to have a good and valuable scene.

- What advantages and disadvantages does being so close bring to Diem Hang and Manh Quan when playing the role of husband and wife, especially when acting in emotional scenes?

With the happy scenes in the daily life of the two characters Yen - Hao, there is no problem, but with the scenes where they have to look at each other passionately or a bit 'hot', it is a bit difficult. Once, I was even reminded by the director:Hang, you have to be cute, you have to make it love you.Actually, it's easy for two actors who have never met each other to act together, but we've been friends for many years, confided in each other about everything, and are so close that having to act like we're in love while looking deeply into each other's eyes is a bit difficult.

Mr. Quan often drove me to film shoots because it was convenient. After each day of filming and halfway home from the filming location, I always asked Mr. Quan if I had done well. Because of those frank exchanges, after more than 2 months of filming, our husband and wife scenes became softer and sweeter.

- I heard that movies are just a side job for Diem Hang because she is busy with her work as an artist, interior designer, and businesswoman. Is that why Diem Hang has been absent from the screen for many years?

Since I was little, my mother let me learn many subjects, from drawing, piano to martial arts and then join the Hanoi Model Club. That's why I didn't have time to play or socialize with friends, I just studied and studied. My mother let me try many things but always wanted her daughter to stick with painting. My family are all painters, everyone draws very well.

So I studied fashion design at the Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts. Currently, I mainly draw and design interiors for many residential projects. - Why did Diem Hang decide to return to the screen when her design work was developing and she was so busy?

Because I love movies so much, in addition to my painting career - the field I understand best, I always cherished the idea of ​​returning to acting one day. But I really didn't think everything would come so soon. By chance, after being invited to play a role "tailored" for me as a painter inMissed the green day,At the farewell party for the film crew, I jokingly told the production manager:No more roles, next time you do a movie, say the main role is mine!

But a week later, I received a phone call inviting me to continue filming with Mr. Bui Quoc Viet. I thought the casting was just for fun, but unexpectedly, after the dialogue session, I received the script for the main role. And the result is as you can see.
