Meeting point of Ambassadors, Diplomatic Representatives of ASEAN countries and ASEAN partners in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On October 31, 2020, in Nghia Dan, TH's high-tech concentrated dairy farm cluster became a meeting point for Ambassadors, Charge d'Affaires, Counselors, and representatives of diplomatic agencies of countries and territories of Cuba, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, and Thailand.
The event was organized by the Indonesian Embassy in coordination with TH Group.
Connecting with ASEAN countries
2020 marks Vietnam's assumption of the role of ASEAN Chair, and also the 25th anniversary of Vietnam's participation in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. At the Launching Ceremony of the 2020 ASEAN Chairmanship, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc called on each citizen, with the spirit of an "ASEAN citizen", to be a messenger conveying the message of a Vietnam that loves peace, friendship, is hospitable and always opens its arms to cooperation.

The event Meeting with ASEAN Ambassadors and TH Group was held at TH's "dairy cow capital" in Nghia Dan, meaning that this farm cluster became an "ambassador" to introduce the model.high-tech agriculturechanging the socio-economic face of the locality, representing the Vietnamese national brand to ASEAN countries and ASEAN partners.
This is an honor for the company that is holding the leading position in the market share of fresh milk in Vietnam on the occasion of the company celebrating 10 years of TH true MILK fresh milk on the market - 10 years of continuous efforts for perfection in every drop of milk.

Among ASEAN countries and ASEAN partners, TH Group currently has close economic relations with many partners, including New Zealand, the US, and Australia.
With New Zealand, TH has imported high-yielding dairy cows from this country 18 times.TH Farmalso uses experts and applies world-leading veterinary standards from New Zealand; partners from New Zealand have made significant contributions to TH's project from the very beginning until now.
In 2019, TH Group acquired 03 farm areas in the Northern Territory (Argyle and Auvergne) and Newry - starting the cooperation with Australia, with the belief that TH will become a large livestock breeding and cattle production enterprise in this country.

In addition, TH milk products, dairy products, and fruit juices are present in many large supermarket chains in ASEAN countries such as Malaysia, Philippines, and Cambodia.

From 2010 to now, international awards have continuously called out TH's fresh milk products such as World Food Moscow (5 consecutive years from 2015 to present), ASEAN Best Food Product 2015, Gulfood Dubai 2016, Stevie Awards 2018... The TH true MILK brand is not only proud to be a national brand of Vietnam but is also widely known in the region and internationally” - Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong noted.
"Ambassador" of high-tech agricultural applications
Sharing with Ambassadors and Diplomatic Representatives of countries,Mrs. Thai Huong- The Founder and Chairwoman of the TH Group's Strategy Council said that the opportunity for her to make clean fresh milk originated from the Melamine-contaminated milk incident in China in 2008.
“At that time, I was heartbroken when this incident caused millions of children's kidneys to bleed. As a mother, I was even more worried when the liquid milk market in Vietnam had up to 92% of imported powdered milk, including imported from China. Therefore, I decided that I could not delay any longer and had to immediately invest in producing clean, safe, international-quality fresh milk products for Vietnamese children and consumers,” said Ms. Thai Huong.

With the High-tech Dairy Farming and Milk Processing Project, TH is the first enterprise recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development as an enterprise applying high technology in dairy farming in Vietnam, setting the record for the largest high-tech concentrated farm cluster in Asia (2015) with a herd of more than 45,000 cows. In 10 years of establishment and development, the farm has continued to research and successfully apply many new techniques, contributing to the innovation of the dairy farming industry such as: successfully implementing the technology of sex-separated embryo transfer to breed purebred high-yielding HF dairy cows; being the first farm in Vietnam to convert pastures and cows to organic farming to produce organic fresh milk according to European standards EC 889-2008, EC 848-2018 in Vietnam;...
In particular, with superior breeds, living in a safe environment and receiving careful nutritional care, TH's dairy cows produce fresh milk with very high yield and quality, the highest milk yield in the ASEAN region with an average of 3.2 liters/cow/day (305 days/cycle).
With the High-tech Dairy Farming and Milk Processing Project, TH Group is considered to have laid the first brick to create the foundation for the development of the clean fresh milk industry, contributing to fundamentally changing the nature of the Vietnamese dairy industry, promoting other businesses to raise dairy cows and process fresh milk, the rate of liquid milk processed from reconstituted powdered milk on the market decreased from 92% in 2008 to below 60% today.

With the largest high-tech dairy farm in Asia and the largest milk processing plant in Southeast Asia, TH has made an extremely important contribution to changing the face of Nghe An agriculture as well as the socio-economic appearance of the Western Nghe An region.” - Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee noted at the meeting.
With the goal of developing a nationwide concentrated dairy herd of up to 200,000 cows by 2025; with the aspiration of "bringing Vietnamese milk to the world", TH Group has invested in the Russian Federation since 2015 with the Industrial-scale Dairy Farming and Milk Processing Complex Project and a number of food projects with a total investment capital of 2.7 billion USD within 10 years.

Attending the event, Mr. Ibnu Hadi - Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam expressed his hope that in the next 10 years, TH Group will continue to build on this successful foundation to continue to grow and become stronger. He also believes that the cooperation between TH and other countries in the ASEAN bloc as well as with ASEAN partners will continue to develop and support each other in the coming time.
After the meeting between the Ambassador, the Diplomatic Representative and the leaders of TH Group, the delegation visited Dairy Farm No. 3 and was very impressed when witnessing the dairy cows being bathed and listening to music before being milked in a clean and completely closed milking parlor. In particular, the cows' legs are equipped with electronic chips, all information about the cows is transmitted to the signal receiver at the Milking Center and updated to the computer, including disease warning information. When a dairy cow shows signs of illness 4 days in advance, the milking machine will automatically refuse to milk that cow, ensuring that only healthy dairy cows can enter the milking parlor.

At Nui Tien Pure Water, Herbs and Fruit Factory and TH Fresh Milk Factory, the delegation visited the most modern production lines in the world - two important links in TH's closed production process for two development directions: the path of clean fresh milk and the path of healthy drinks.
TH's raw material field was the final stop that attracted great attention from the ambassadorial delegation when the statistics on harvest productivity applying high technology and modern management science recorded here far exceeded that of traditional farming methods.
According to data from the Food Center of TH Dairy Food Joint Stock Company, in the most recent harvest from August 10 to September 16, the total output of grass and corn in this field brought to the Center was 36,000 tons, with an average yield of 1,000 tons/day. The application of the achievements of the 4.0 revolution and agriculture has helped the grass yield in TH's field reach 150 tons/ha/year, corn yield 48 tons/ha/crop, dozens of times higher than traditional farming methods.
The event Meeting with ASEAN Ambassadors and TH Group ended with activities of visiting President Ho Chi Minh's hometown and offering incense at Chung Son Temple (Nam Dan) - the place to worship President Ho's ancestors.
