His younger brother Paul Tabinas is also a football player. Jefferson Tabinas currently plays regularly for Mito Hollyhock Club in J-League 2, which was Nguyen Cong Phuong's old team in 2016. The most special player is midfielder Stephan Schrock (left). The midfielder, born in 1986, retired from the national team in May 2023, but returned after receiving an offer from coach Michael Weiss. He belongs to the Manila club and has played in Bundesliga 2. Before playing 60 matches for the Philippine national team, Schrock played for the U18, U19 and U20 Germany. Schrock has a German father and a Filipino mother. Currently, he is the most experienced player of the Philippines when playing against Vietnam.
