Admission floor score in 2025 of Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City
On the afternoon of July 23, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City officially announced the minimum scores for admission methods in 2025.
For the combined admission method, the minimum score is 75 (150-point scale).
The minimum score for the comprehensive admission method is 75 points (on a scale of 150), applied to all majors and training programs.
For candidates graduating in 2024, the average score of semester 2 of grade 11 and semester 1 and semester 2 of grade 12 must be 6.5 or higher.
Candidates graduating in 2025 must have good or better results in semester 2 of grade 11 and semester 1 and semester 2 of grade 12.
Admission scores are calculated based on the converted scores of the three semesters' subject combinations, plus the converted scores from other criteria (if any) and the total converted priority scores (if any). Priority scores for subjects and regions will be converted to a 150-point scale.
Other criteria for converting scores include: international English certificate scores, excellent student selection exam scores, scores from Specialized/Gifted Schools, and excellent student ranking scores.
Regarding the VSAT exam score review method in 2025
BUH stipulates that the minimum score for admission based on VSAT results in 2025 is 225 points (on a scale of 450). This score includes priority admission points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
In particular, the component scores of the subjects in the combination must be 15 points or higher. This regulation applies to all majors and programs using the VSAT method.
For English Language majors, English will be multiplied by a factor of 2 and converted to a 450 scale.
Regarding the method of considering high school graduation exam scores in 2025
For the 2025 high school graduation exam score method, the announced minimum score is 18 points (on a scale of 30). This score includes the priority admission score according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, applicable to all majors and training programs.
Similar to the VSAT method, for English Language majors (special programs and standard regular programs), the English subject will be multiplied by a factor of 2 and converted to a 30-point scale.
Important note: The International Bachelor's program with a partner-level degree has its own admission method based on academic records and interviews, and does not apply the method of considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
Regulations for Law, Economic Law, Economic Law (partial English)
The Law, Economic Law and Economic Law (partial English) majors have their own regulations. The minimum total admission score is 18 points (on a 30-point scale, other methods are converted to a 30-point scale).
Admission combinations with Math and Literature, or only Math, or only Literature, must achieve a minimum score of 6 points or higher (10-point scale, other methods are converted to the corresponding 10-point scale).
