(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 24th, the stick pushing competition took place.The 17th Phu Dong Sports Festival of the province has completed all its competitions and awarded prizes.

Stick pushing is a competitive sport that attracts a large number of athletes. While in previous years this was a specialty of mountainous districts, this year the victory leaned towards lowland districts such as Dien Chau, Do Luong, and Yen Thanh.

Dien Chau alone dominated, winning first prize in 9 out of 20 events.

With a knockout format, the organizing committee awarded 20 prizes for 20 events in both junior and senior high school levels, across weight categories ranging from 41 kg to 65 kg.
