Dien Chau: Two people die from electric shock in two days.
(Baonghean.vn) - During the rainy days and preparations for the storm, due to carelessness, two men in Dien Chau district died from electric shock.
At 11 PM on July 18th, while raising his family's belongings to protect them from the storm, Cao Tien Ut (born in 1988), residing in Hamlet 9, Dien Phu Commune, was electrocuted and died instantly after accidentally touching an electrically charged object.
Earlier, at 4:30 PM on July 17th, while repairing electrical wiring for a neighbor, Mr. Le Van Thanh (born in 1982), from Dong Loc hamlet, Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district, was electrocuted and thrown to the ground, hitting his head against a stone wall, due to not cutting off the power supply. Although his family rushed him to Dien Chau General Hospital for emergency treatment, he died later due to severe brain trauma.
People need to be careful when using and repairing electrical appliances, especially during the rainy season, to prevent unfortunate accidents.
