Dien Chau inspects the implementation of regulations on livestock farming.

(Baonghean.vn) - Over two days (July 8th and 9th), Dien Chau district established a team to inspect the implementation of Decision No. 50 of the Provincial People's Committee on regulations regarding conditions for livestock and poultry farming in the area.

Representatives from the district's Department of Agriculture and members of the inspection team visited the livestock farms.

During this inspection, the team examined nine farms, revealing that the farms had generally complied with regulations and conditions in livestock farming, ensuring disease prevention for livestock and environmental hygiene. However, most of the inspected farms lacked understanding of some regulations regarding state management in veterinary activities, such as not obtaining licenses, and failing to fulfill certain registrations and commitments regarding livestock farming conditions.

Dien Chau currently has a total livestock population of over 1.7 million animals. This includes 36 large-scale livestock farms and more than 600 small-scale family farms. This inspection aims to improve management practices and help farm and family farm owners comply with regulations in livestock farming and veterinary medicine.
