(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 28th, at Dien Hanh commune, Dien Chau District Youth Union organized the launching ceremony for Youth Month 2015 with the theme "Proudly marching forward under the Party flag".

This year's Youth Month was launched with specific actions and tasks under the motto "each Youth Union member volunteers for one day," leveraging the intelligence and dedication of young people to organize many practical volunteer activities. During Youth Month 2015, the Dien Chau District Youth Union implemented and strived to complete 39 meaningful projects and tasks at the commune level and 1000 projects and tasks at the branch level. In addition, with the theme of Youth Month 2015 being "Proudly marching forward under the Party flag," the District Youth Union encouraged cadres, Youth Union members, and young people to contribute ideas to the Party Congress documents at all levels. 100% of grassroots Youth Union organizations held forums on "The Party with the Youth, the Youth with the Party," striving to recruit 1200 new members and recommend 60 outstanding members for Party membership consideration.

At the launching ceremony, the Dien Chau District Youth Union presented four flocks of "Red Scarf" chickens, as part of the "Continuing the Journey to School" movement, to four underprivileged students at Dien Hanh Primary and Secondary School.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, a large number of youth union members proceeded to plant over 1000 acacia and mahogany trees in the stadium area and several public spots in Dien Hanh commune.

In response to this year's Youth Month, the youth of Nghia Dan actively participated in building new rural areas, constructing rural roads, beautifying and cleaning village roads and alleys; organizing career counseling and job placement for young people, supporting young people in developing family economies, providing labor assistance to policy beneficiaries and poor households, building playgrounds for children and teenagers in villages inhabited by religious and ethnic minority communities, and organizing cultural, artistic, physical education, and sports activities…

According to the plan, each grassroots youth organization strives to have one youth project or activity. Following the launching ceremony, the opening ceremony of the football tournament for Youth Union, Young Pioneer, and Association officials took place with 13 teams participating, divided into 4 groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals… The final match is scheduled to take place on March 15th.
