After the emergency meeting, the members of the Steering Committee decided to further isolate Minh Chau commune, block off Van Tap hamlet of this commune to focus on tracing, isolating, and suppressing the epidemic. Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of the Department of Health requested the authorities to quickly trace F1s, urgently collect samples for testing for more than 1,000 people in Van Tap hamlet.

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper: Dien Chau district has 3 more cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in this district to 7 cases and in Nghe An province to 11 people (from June 14 to present).
These 3 new Covid-19 cases are all in Van Tap village, Minh Chau commune, Dien Chau district. All 3 people live in the same village and rented a room with a Covid-19 case that was announced by Nghe An province a few hours earlier.
