Dien Chau is ready for the Cuong Temple festival.
(Baonghean.vn) - The 2018 Cuong Temple Festival will be held from March 29th to 31st (corresponding to the 12th to 15th days of the second lunar month). Dien Chau district is currently working hard to complete preparations with the goal of making the festival joyful, meaningful, and leaving a positive impression on the people and visitors from all over.
To ensure the 2018 Cuong Temple Festival is held safely and meticulously, Dien Chau district has already developed a specific plan, deploying 150 people including police, border guards, the district military command, and security personnel from several communes to ensure security, order, and traffic safety.

This year, Dien Chau district is strictly enforcing regulations to prevent the operation of disguised gambling activities, as well as begging and harassment of tourists. In addition, 30 volunteer youth union members have been deployed to distribute incense and guide visitors in offering incense according to regulations.
In addition, the organizing committee has also prepared all the necessary conditions to meet the spiritual needs of visitors coming to Cuong Temple. The ceremonial team has also practiced diligently to ensure that the rituals are conducted solemnly.

This year, the district allocated nearly 800 million VND from the local budget and solicited social contributions to renovate the temple grounds, making them clean and beautiful. Currently, the construction work has been completed.
Mr. Cao Van Tran, a member of the Cuong Temple management board, said: "To date, all preparations at the temple have been basically completed. We have also instructed visitors to light incense in the designated areas, maintain cleanliness, and especially to prevent superstitious activities from occurring at the temple. Everything has been fully arranged to ensure that visitors can feel truly at ease when participating in the Cuong Temple festival."
Along with the solemnly organized ceremony, this year's Cuong Temple Festival also features a variety of cultural and sporting activities such as: a youth beauty contest, men's volleyball finals, card games, performances of folk songs by the Center for Preservation and Promotion of Nghe An Folk Songs, a folk art performance, a Ca Tru singing exchange, and traditional games such as bamboo swing, lion dance, sack race, blindfolded pot smashing, and crossbow shooting...
