Dien Chau: Train accident, one person escaped death

(Baonghean.vn) - At 10:10 a.m. on October 19, another train accident occurred on the civilian level crossing at km 270+750 (in front of the fish hatchery gate) of the Thong Nhat railway in Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district.

At the above time, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (born in 1990, residing in Quynh Luu district) was driving a motorbike with license plate 37N2 4740 from the fish farm to National Highway 1A. While crossing the above-mentioned residential road, Mr. Hung was hit by the unified train number SE8 (Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi) causing both the person and the motorbike to be thrown about 30 meters away from the railway. The motorbike was completely crushed, Mr. Hung was injured and was taken to the hospital by the train staff and Yen Ly station staff for emergency treatment.

The unified train must stop to handle the 30-minute delay.
