Dien Chau: Tanker truck crashes into truck, demolishes house.
(Baonghean.vn) - While transporting powdered cement in a specialized tanker truck on National Highway 1A, the tanker suddenly lost control, crashed into an oncoming truck, and then demolished a house, sending both drivers to the hospital.
The aforementioned serious accident occurred on National Highway 1A, in Dien Truong commune, Dien Chau district (Nghe An province) at 3:30 PM this afternoon (February 26).

According to eyewitnesses, at the time of the incident, a long cement tanker truck with license plate 37C 09500, towing a trailer with license plate 37R 00294, was traveling from Hanoi to Vinh. At kilometer 410, it swerved to avoid a passenger bus, causing the tanker truck to veer from the right to the left side of the road, colliding with an oncoming truck with license plate 37C 07270. The impact was quite strong, causing both vehicles' front ends to be severely damaged. The tanker truck then crashed into a house along the roadside, completely embedding itself inside and knocking down the wall. Both drivers (whose identities are unknown) sustained serious injuries and were taken to Quynh Luu District Hospital for emergency treatment before being immediately transferred to Nghe An 115 Hospital.

The accident caused a local traffic jam as other tanker trucks arrived to pump and transfer cement from the damaged vehicle to clear the scene. Local police promptly arrived to handle the situation.
