Dien Chau: Tanker truck crashes into truck, collapses house
(Baonghean.vn) - While transporting powdered cement on a specialized tanker truck traveling on Highway 1A, the tanker truck suddenly lost control, crashed into a truck going in the opposite direction, and then crashed into a house, sending the two drivers to the hospital.
The above serious accident occurred on National Highway 1A, Dien Truong Commune, Dien Chau District (Nghe An) at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon (February 26).

According to witnesses, at the above time, a long cement tanker with license plate 37C 09500, pulling a trailer with license plate 37R 00294, traveling in the direction of Hanoi - Vinh, reached km 410 and avoided a van, causing the tanker to veer from the right side to the left side of the road, crashing into an oncoming truck with license plate 37C 07270. The strong impact from the long vehicle caused both front vehicles to be crushed, the tanker continued to crash into a house on the side of the road, "snuggled" into the house, and crashed into a wall. The accident left both drivers (identities unknown) seriously injured and they were taken to Quynh Luu district hospital for emergency treatment and immediately transferred to Nghe An 115 hospital.

The accident caused local traffic congestion because another tanker truck came to pump and transfer cement from the accident vehicle to clear the scene. Local police were promptly present to handle the situation.
