Dien Chau district holds mobile court sessions for 4 cases.

(Baonghean.vn) - On January 11th, at the meeting hall of Dien Yen commune People's Committee, the Dien Chau District People's Court held a public mobile trial for four cases of "Illegal buying, selling, and possession of narcotics" and "Theft of property".

The court sentenced Ngo Quoc Thinh to 27 months in prison for illegally possessing narcotics.

The court tried defendant Nguyen Van Thiep (born in 1994), residing in Hamlet 1, Dien Trung Commune, for illegally buying and selling 1.4 grams of synthetic drugs; defendant Nguyen Ngoc Lam (born in 1979), residing in Hamlet 1, Dien Yen Commune, for the crime of buying and selling 0.50 grams of drugs; and defendant Ngo Quoc Thinh (born in 1977), residing in Ngoc Son Hamlet, Do Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, for illegally possessing 4.95 grams of synthetic drugs.

For charges of illegal trafficking and possession of narcotics, the court sentenced defendant Thiep to 36 months in prison, defendant Lam to 30 months in prison, and defendant Thinh to 27 months in prison.

On the same day, the People's Court of Dien Chau District also sentenced Nguyen Duy Hung (born in 1993), residing in Hamlet 3, Van Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, to 15 months in prison for theft of property, including one mobile phone and one tablet, with a total value of 6 million VND.
