Industrial Electricity and Automotive Technology are two 'hot' industries this year.

(Baonghean.vn) - This school year, Vietnam - Korea Technical College attracted nearly 1,000 students and set a target of 85-90% of graduates having jobs.

On the afternoon of October 11, Vietnam - Korea Technical College opened the new school year 2017 - 2018 and the Vietnam - Korea Culinary Culture Festival.

Attending the event were comrade Nguyen Bang Toan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors; universities and colleges in the area.

In the 2016-2017 school year, Vietnam - Korea Technical College has successfully completed its assigned tasks. During the school year, it contacted nearly 730 students for internships, finding jobs domestically and internationally for 675 students, reaching a rate of 86%.

Most of them are introduced to work in industrial parks, export processing zones, economic corporations such as Samsung Vietnam, Hong Hai Group, Hung Thinh Formosa Ha Tinh Company... and are consulted and introduced to work abroad in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.

This 2017-2018 school year, there are nearly 1,000 students studying in 7 faculties (10 majors) of the school, including many "hot" faculties that attract many students such as Industrial Electricity; Automotive Technology; Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering; Mechanical Engineering... The school aims for 85-90% of students to have jobs after graduation.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 10 collectives and individuals; the school awarded prizes to 5 excellent teachers; and awarded certificates of merit to 30 teachers and students with excellent achievements in the 2016-2017 school year.

The 2017 Vietnam - Korea Cultural and Culinary Festival includes activities such as: art performances, Vovinam martial arts performances, traditional musical instruments and folk games of the two countries; introducing Vietnamese - Korean dishes prepared by staff, teachers, workers and students. This is an annual activity of the school, an opportunity to strengthen the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Korea.
