(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 18th in Vinh City, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs organized a forum titled "Listening to Children Talk About the Implementation of Children's Rights". The forum "Listening to Children Speak About Children's Rights" was organized with the aim of creating a shift in awareness and action among all levels, sectors, and society as a whole regarding the implementation of children's rights and the building of a safe, friendly, equal, and healthy living environment for children. This was an opportunity for 65 teenagers, representing 950,000 children from 21 districts, cities, and towns, as well as children from the SOS Children's Village in Vinh City, to express their opinions, thoughts, and feelings about issues that concern them.
At the forum, the children had the opportunity to engage in direct dialogue, expressing their opinions, thoughts, desires, and aspirations to leaders at all levels, such as the right to education, the right to protection and healthcare, as well as discussing children's responsibilities and what children are not allowed to do...

Acknowledging the opinions of the youth delegates on children's rights, Mr. Le Xuan Dai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged the attention given by the Party, the State, and various departments to children in recent times. He particularly praised the efforts of the children, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds and remote areas who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies. However, many issues remain, such as health, learning conditions, violence, and child abuse. Therefore, coordination between families, schools, and society is needed to protect children and ensure they have a safe, healthy life and comprehensive development.
