Dien Ky (Dien Chau) celebrates the 70th anniversary of the commune's establishment.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the district's agencies, departments, and units; delegates from communes and towns; former and current commune leaders and officials; businesses from within and outside the district; various departments, organizations, and a large number of local people.

Proud of its 70-year history, especially in recent years, the officials and people of the commune have been determined and made efforts to overcome difficulties and build their homeland. In 1995, the commune was honored to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the State; in 2015, it was recognized as a New Rural Area – one of the leading units in socio-economic development of Dien Chau district.

Inheriting and building upon revolutionary traditions, Dien Ky commune is currently experiencing solid development. The economy grows steadily at a relatively high rate annually, and the economic structure is shifting positively.

In the New Rural Development movement, with the perspective that "New rural development has no end," building on the success of achieving the New Rural Development standard in 2015, Dien Ky commune continued to focus all resources on building an advanced new rural commune. With the synchronized participation of the entire political system and the people, in 2021, Dien Ky was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a commune achieving the advanced new rural development standard (2016-2021).

Along with focusing on building and improving essential infrastructure, Dien Ky commune continues to leverage its potential and strengths in agricultural economic development; proactively developing many models suitable to the local conditions.

Culture, healthcare, and education have developed, and for many years, Dien Chau district has been a leading unit. National defense has been maintained, and political security and social order have been ensured. Party building and the construction of the political system have received special attention. The people's trust in the Party's leadership and the government's administration has continuously increased.

With the achievements they have made, the Party Committee, government, and people of Dien Ky commune have been honored to receive many Certificates of Merit and Commendations from the province and district over the years.

Excited and proud of the great achievements after 70 years since the commune's establishment, the Party Committee, government, and people of Dien Ky are actively and effectively implementing the Resolutions of the Party Congress at all levels for the 2020-2025 term.

Specifically, the plan aims to maintain and continuously improve the quality of criteria for achieving advanced new rural commune status and to move towards building Dien Ky into a model new rural commune. The goal by 2025 is to shift the economic structure of the commune to 90% industry and services, reduce the proportion of agriculture to 10%, and achieve an average per capita income of 80-85 million VND/year. The plan also aims to maintain the commune's national standard for healthcare, with a health insurance coverage rate of 98% or higher. Furthermore, the commune strives to have no poor households, all three schools maintain national standard status, and the percentage of culturally exemplary families exceeds 95%. Finally, it aims for 100% of villages to achieve and maintain the title of "Cultural Village," and for the commune to maintain its status as a standard commune for cultural and sports institutions.

Building on the achievements already made, in the coming time, Dien Ky commune will continue to mobilize all resources to improve the quality of new rural criteria, aiming to build a model new rural area; effectively maintain and expand safe mushroom production models and products with local advantages and strengths.

In addition, continue to promote and encourage the people to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements launched at all levels. Pay attention to social welfare work, effectively implement policies for those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution, address employment issues, achieve sustainable poverty reduction, and effectively carry out healthcare for the people; continue to effectively implement national defense and security work in the locality.
