This activity aims to train and raise awareness among nearly 100 fishermen, boat owners, organizations and individuals operating in the fishing port, and port officials and staff, so that they are proactive and ready to handle fire and explosion incidents.
A simulated fire scenario is set up in a fishing port area where many ships are unloading seafood, and a fishing vessel docked in the port catches fire. The fire spreads rapidly, engulfing the entire fishing vessel, emitting heat, smoke, and toxic gases, and threatening to spread to neighboring vessels. The vessel also contains valuable assets, and many crew members from other vessels participating in firefighting and rescue efforts are trapped in the fire.

In this dangerous situation, upon discovering the fire, the person who discovered it alerted the entire fishing port and cut off the power to the burning vessel. The on-site fire fighting force deployed personnel to rescue people and property, used available fire fighting equipment and tools to extinguish the fire, and immediately notified the professional fire fighting force, dispatched personnel to meet the fire trucks, and directed the professional fire fighting force to a water source.

Professional firefighters, upon receiving the fire alarm, immediately dispatched personnel and equipment to the scene to extinguish the fire and rescue those trapped inside. During the firefighting operation, local police, border guards, and local authorities also mobilized forces and resources to secure the scene, coordinate firefighting efforts, rescue people and property, and mitigate the consequences of the fire.
The practical experience gained from this drill will provide valuable lessons and insights into fire prevention and firefighting at fishing ports in Nghe An province and on fishing vessels during fishing or unloading seafood.
