Defensive combat drills at Thu Thuy

(Baonghean.vn) - From July 6-7, 2017, the Thu Thuy Ward Exercise Organizing Committee held a three-stage exercise with the following contents: Transitioning armed forces into a state of combat readiness and transitioning the locality into various states of national defense; Organizing preparations for defensive combat and conducting defensive combat.

The 2017 Thu Thuy Ward defense combat exercise aimed to improve the leadership and guidance capabilities of the Party committee; the management and operation of the government in a national defense emergency; the advisory role of the Fatherland Front, mass organizations, and professional staff, with the military and police forces playing a core role; and to enhance the coordination and defensive combat capabilities of the local armed forces, ready to handle A2 situations and other defensive combat scenarios.

The exercise also aimed to supplement and improve the system of operational and defensive combat documents, while simultaneously raising awareness of national defense and security tasks among officials and residents in the ward.
