On the afternoon of May 20, a representative of the Inspectorate of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City said that the Department received a petition from Ms. Dang Thi My Dung (stage name Midu) requesting to handle the posting of false information on the Facebook fanpage This is Mask and TikTok channel Chuabiet_01, which affected her.
The Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City has sent an invitation to the owners of the two social media channels above to come to work on May 24 to provide videos related to Ms. Dang Thi My Dung on the Facebook fanpage This is Mask and TikTok channel Chuabiet_01. The results of the working session will be informed by the Department later.
Contacting Midu, the actress confirmed that she had sent a petition to the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City requesting to handle the posting of false information on the Facebook fanpage This is Mask and TikTok channel Chuabiet_01. However, the representative of actress Midu refused to share more about the incident.
Previously, the TikTok account named Chuabiet_01 with more than 879,000 followers and 23.1 million likes caused a stir when it posted a clip titled "Midi's past", providing a lot of unverified information about the actress's love life and private life, attracting more than 3.5 million views and thousands of comments.
