The brother of the actor "Luc Van Tien" confirmed that Minh Beo was arrested by the US police and the family is hiring a lawyer to protect their rights.
On the afternoon of March 28, through an exchange, Mr. Kien - Minh Beo's manager and brother confirmed that the comedian had been arrested by the US police.
"The family has received information that Minh was arrested in the US. During the first days of the tour, Minh still called home. However, for the past 3 days we have not been able to contact Minh because the police have not allowed us to meet. My family has asked relatives in the US to hire a lawyer to protect Minh," said Mr. Kien.
Responding to the question of whether Minh Beo was arrested for harassment as reported on social media, Mr. Kien said: "I think Minh was harmed, maybe drugged. In recent years, Minh has encountered many scandals because many people are jealous."
