Turkish media today (January 8) revealed the identity of an important figure in the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), accused of leading protests and riots in many cities and towns of this Middle Eastern country.

Takvim newspaper said that Michael D'Andrea - head of the Central Intelligence Agency's Iran office, nicknamed "Prince of Darkness", was the leader of the violent protests that killed 20 people in Iran.
According to Takvim, Michael D'Andrea sent 900 people under the guise of businessmen to Iran to incite riots in many cities of the country. Previously, Türkiye's Aksam newspaper also published similar information.
The revelations by Turkish media came after Mohsen Rezayee, Secretary of the Supreme Leader's Advisory Council of Iran, accused the US, Saudi Arabia and several other organizations of interfering in Iran's internal affairs and supporting protests in the Islamic Republic.
The administration of US President Donald Trump has denied any involvement in the protests in Iran and the CIA refused to comment on the above information./.
