Adjusting ticket prices to visit many museums

Ticket prices at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, the Museum of Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups, and the National Museum of History have all been adjusted and applied since 2017.

According to a newly issued circular issued by the Ministry of Finance, entrance fees to some museums will change from January 1, 2017.

At the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (Hanoi), the entrance fees for adults and students remain unchanged, 40,000 and 10,000 VND, respectively. Only the fee for students has increased from 15,000 to 20,000 VND.

Inside the Bronze Drum building (belonging to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology) are the distinct features of the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam.

Entrance fee to the Museum of Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups (Thai Nguyen) increased from 20,000 to 30,000 VND for adults, 15,000 to 20,000 VND for students and remained at 10,000 VND for pupils.

The only fee that has changed when visiting the National History Museum (Hanoi) is for students, increasing from 15,000 to 20,000 VND. The entrance fee for adults and students remains 40,000 and 10,000 VND respectively.

Policy visitors, the elderly and the disabled receive a 50% discount on tickets.
