This afternoon, after listening to the report of the Department of Finance leaders on the regulations on drainage service prices in the province and the comments, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, agreed to issue a decision on the regulations on drainage service prices in Vinh city, Cua Lo town and Thai Hoa.

Accordingly, to ensure the management, operation, maintenance of the drainage system and wastewater treatment; from January 1, 2016, the drainage service price in Vinh city will be adjusted to increase accordingly. For Cua Lo town and Thai Hoa town, after the drainage system and wastewater treatment plant are put into operation, the collection rate will be 80% of the price applied to the subjects in Vinh city. From 2018 and the following years, based on socio-economic conditions and funding needs, the province will adjust the price accordingly for each period.
