Only these two keys have lines because to type correctly without looking at the keyboard, our two index fingers will be placed on these two keys F and J. And the next fingers of the two hands will be placed on the next keys in order. And the two thumbs will fit into the space bar.
Who designed this magical line?
That’s June E Botich. She created this ridge to increase typing speed and accuracy for users. Botich is from Naples, Florida (USA), and she registered a patent for this “little” creation in April 2002.
