Despite the complicated developments of the epidemic, since December 22nd until now, every half month artists have participated inTao Quanstill focus on the evenings at VFC headquarters and practice all night to record in time to serve the television audience on the night of New Year's Eve.
It can be seen that this year's program gathered most of the familiar artists such as People's Artist Tu Long, Quoc Khanh, Quang Thang, Van Dung, Chi Trung, Trung Ruoi, Do Duy Nam, Dung 'hon'... However, the behind-the-scenes photos recently shared by the artists did not have the appearance ofPeople's Artist Cong Lyand Xuan Bac.

The absence of People's Artist Cong Ly is understandable because he is in the recovery stage after a stroke and his participation in Tao Quan 2022 is still a question mark. However, Xuan Bac's absence also increases speculation that this year the program will be without two pillars Nam Tao - Bac Dau, although both artists have not officially spoken out.
Behind the scenes, participating artists also shared many unprecedented images in many years of practicing Tao Quan. ArtistsVan Dungposted a photo of her being tested for Covid by the production team before the practice session. "Every day, we push each other down/ Teasing each other to check for safety/ Both the Medical staff and the Jade Emperor/ Must be tested properly and thoroughly," the female artist humorously wrote.

VFC representative shared that almost every night, artists rehearsing for Tao Quan have to be tested before starting work. This is something many people have become accustomed to over the past year when participating in VFC films in the context of the tense epidemic. However, with Tao Quan 2022, it is the first time they have experienced it.
The production crew has not yet confirmed whether People's Artist Cong Ly will participate in Tao Quan 2022. The filming time and location have not been finalized, but it is likely that Tao Quan 2022 will be filmed without an audience at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace because the number of Covid-19 infections in Hanoi has not shown any signs of cooling down.
