Dieu Linh and Huynh Chau qualify for the 2012 Olympics.

On November 27th, the Vietnamese taekwondo team brilliantly secured two Olympic 2012 qualification spots for Chu Hoang Dieu Linh (women's under 67kg) and Le Huynh Chau (men's under 58kg) in the recently concluded qualifying rounds in Thailand.

Diệu Linh quickly demonstrated her strength with consecutive victories against Suhal (Sri Lanka) and Manita Sahi (Nepal) to reach the final. Although she lost to Sousan (Iran) in the gold medal match, Diệu Linh still secured a ticket to the 2012 Olympics.
In the men's under 58kg category, Huynh Chau defeated Malaysian opponent Ryan Chong to win the bronze medal and the last ticket in this weight class to London next year.
