Investigating human trafficking

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 31, Phuc Son Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard Command) announced that the unit is coordinating with relevant authorities to verify, investigate, and clarify a case related to human trafficking.

Specifically, at 3 PM on October 28th, two individuals (one male, one female) riding a red motorbike with an unknown license plate entered the house of Ms. Vi Thi Phan, born in 1954, residing in Phuc Son commune, Anh Son district, to invite her granddaughter, Lu Thi B, born in 1998, to go work selling groceries (address unknown). However, Ms. Phan (B's grandmother) refused and continued working in the fields. Around 4 PM that same day, Ms. Phan returned home and could not find B. Her phone was unreachable, and villagers reported that B had gone with the two strangers.
