Suspend party activities, prosecute and temporarily detain Mr. Dinh La Thang
The Head of the Central Organization Committee signed Decision 631-QDNS/TW on suspending party activities of comrade Dinh La Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee.

On December 8, on behalf of the Politburo, Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission signed Decision 631-QDNS/TW on suspending party activities of Comrade Dinh La Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission.
Pursuant to the Party Charter, the Working Regulations of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat of the 12th tenure; Regulation No. 30-QD/TW dated July 26, 2016 of the Central Executive Committee stipulating the implementation of Chapter VII and Chapter VIII of the Party Charter on the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work; at the request of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Central Inspection Commission, the Politburo decides:
Suspend party activities and committee activities (including activities of the Central Executive Committee) of comrade Dinh La Thang, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Party, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee from December 8, 2017 according to Decision on prosecution No. 522/C46, dated December 8, 2017 and Order of temporary detention No. 134/C46, dated December 8, 2017 of the Investigation Police Agency, Ministry of Public Security.
The suspension period is calculated according to the period prescribed by law (including extension, if any).
The Central Party Office, the Central Economic Commission, the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Central Inspection Commission, the Central Organization Commission and comrade Dinh La Thang shall implement this Decision./.
