(Baonghean.vn)- On the afternoon of November 29, the Vinh City Urban Management Department announced that it had suspended construction of the Northern Bus Station in Nghi Kim Commune due to an accident that injured 10 people.

Vinh City Urban Management Department issued Decision No. 1134/QD-QLDT dated November 26, 2017 to suspend construction of works violating urban construction order.

Accordingly, the Northern Bus Station, invested by Nghe An Bus Station Joint Stock Company, was suspended from construction due to violations: The scaffolding collapsed while pouring concrete on the roof of the project, causing serious consequences and injuring 10 workers.

This decision also requires the Chairman of Nghi Kim Commune People's Committee to organize the suspension of construction, in which the Chief of the Commune Police presides over and coordinates with the Nghi Kim Commune Public Order Team and relevant civil servants of the commune to prohibit vehicles carrying supplies, materials and workers from entering the construction site to ensure the highest safety. And this project will only be allowed to be built when Nghe An Bus Station Joint Stock Company has handled the above incidents and is permitted by the competent authority.

As reported, at around 5:00 p.m. on November 25, a group of workers were pouring concrete on the roof of the Vinh City Northern Bus Station project in Nghi Kim commune, Vinh City when the scaffolding suddenly collapsed.
