Suspending a candidate at Huynh Thuc Khang High School for bringing a cell phone into the exam room
(Baonghean.vn) - On June 23, more than 12,500 candidates from Nghe An entered the third exam subject of the National High School Exam, which is the combination of Natural Sciences (including 3 subjects: Physics - Chemistry - Biology). This is also the first time the combination subject has been included in this exam in the form of objective tests.
Because the combination is one of two elective subjects, today the number of candidates in Nghe An is only 1/3 compared to previous exams. In this exam, high school candidates are required to take all three subjects: Physics - Chemistry - Biology. However, independent candidates have the right to choose to register for each component subject for admission to universities.
For that reason, at the examination sites, candidates enter the examination room at different times. In case candidates only take one or two subjects, they can leave after completing the exam. To support independent candidates, many examination sites have also prepared waiting rooms, helping candidates have a place to rest while waiting for their exam.

As one of the independent candidates at the exam site of Ethnic Minority High School 2, candidate Pham Minh Tam left the exam room after finishing the Physics and Chemistry exams. For Tam, the Physics and Chemistry exams were both within the textbook program. The exam was not too difficult, I myself finished the entire exam but I was not confident with all the questions: I found that this year's exam was highly classified, especially from question 30 onwards. In which, the easy questions were "quite easy" but the difficult questions were not "quite difficult".
According to Tam and his friends, the combination test was quite interesting. However, during the test, there was a small “incident” when at the beginning of the test, many test questions of both Physics and Chemistry had to have their test codes adjusted.

At the Ha Huy Tap High School exam site, at exactly 10:50 a.m., the candidates completed the third exam. Talking about the results, candidate Pham Cong Tung - Le Viet Thuan High School said: Before the combined exam, many candidates said that they would take advantage of the 10-minute break between exams to adjust the results.
But in reality, in those 10 minutes, after handing in the scratch paper and the exam, all the exam papers must be face down, and editing is not possible. Furthermore, each exam only has 50 minutes and 40 questions, so students have to "stretch" all their time to do the test, without time to read the questions or remember the questions.
Tung also said: Actually, taking three exams in one session makes us a bit tired, if we are not alert, it is difficult to do well on the test. For Tung, the exam was not too difficult, it is very easy to get an average score because of the basic knowledge, especially the first 30 questions.

Regarding the essay test, candidate Nguyen Thi Lam Giang - a student at Ha Huy Tap High School, is quite optimistic even though she is the candidate who has to correct the test: I had to correct the test code 205 of Physics. After distributing the test, the supervisor gave me another test and asked me to correct one question, so there was no problem. I think this is the way to take the test because it shortens the time, making it easier for us to do the test, not having to drag it out like every year.
On the third day of the exam, according to the Department of Education and Training, one candidate at Huynh Thuc Khang High School was suspended for bringing a cell phone into the exam room.
This afternoon, candidates will take the fourth test, Foreign Language, in multiple choice format. This is also the test with the shortest test time: 60 minutes. Foreign Language is also one of the three compulsory subjects./.
