It must be said that this communal house has a very unique architecture, the carvings on the pillars, rafters and lines are very delicate, harmonious and beautiful. The communal house is located on a fairly large square of land, in front of which there is a fence (river) with water flowing all year round, behind which is a hundred-year-old Bodhi tree. I don't know why this communal house has been forgotten for a long time, let the rain, sun and time make it fall into disrepair without being repaired (see photo). Looking at the communal house with its tiled roof all torn off, its rafters as bare as dry bones, its surrounding walls gone, left to be left to rot and pollute, everyone feels regretful and heartbroken.
If this communal house were restored, it would become a strong feature of Vietnamese village culture. The village would have more soul. This would become a place for cultural activities of the village. How wonderful it would be if the old festivals such as the Luc Nguyet and Xuan festivals were restored.
Restoring, preserving and promoting national cultural identity is a correct policy of our Party, which has been responded to and actively implemented by all localities across the country. However, it is unclear why the local authorities here ignore this situation.
Cultural officials and district leaders must have seen the dilapidated Thuong Communal House standing "barely in the dust" but still had no opinion?
