Do Luong district has 24 karaoke establishments, including 63 rooms. Through inspection, karaoke establishments have basically been equipped with fire prevention and fighting equipment, and have emergency exits in case of incidents.

Check for loose electrical outlets that are prone to short circuits and fires.

However, some fire extinguishers were broken, unusable and had not been quality inspected or were not equipped with enough fire extinguishers compared to the business area of ​​the restaurant. Fire protection equipment was not maintained well.

Some employees are still confused about how to handle fire extinguishers. Fire exits are often obstructed by business equipment.

Staff are fully trained in fire prevention and fighting, however, some staff are still not really proficient in handling fire extinguishers.

Karaoke rooms are often soundproofed with foam and foam padding, which are flammable. At electrical connections, some bars also connect unsafe wiring without electrical shielding, which can easily cause short circuits and fires. In addition, the lighting system is inadequate, and there are escape signs, but some are damaged, obscured, or not in use.
