Do Luong: Seeking opinions on amendments to the 1992 Constitution Draft

At the conference, 30 opinions were contributed to the draft. These opinions focused on issues stipulated in Article 4 concerning the leading role of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and also included many suggestions for amending the Constitution, such as: the need for specific provisions in the Constitution regarding political and socio-political organizations; provisions on gender equality; the rights of businesses and commercial establishments; and issues closely related to the rights and interests of organizations and individuals.
Following this conference, communes, towns, and agencies in Do Luong continued to organize the collection of public feedback on the draft Constitution.
