Previously, African swine fever had appeared in Minh Son and Da Son communes. Although the weather is currently very hot, we are making efforts to tighten measures to prevent the disease from spreading widely. We have organized the spraying of more than 1,000 liters of disinfectant. The station's staff were assigned to the grassroots to monitor the disease situation, take samples promptly when pigs in households got sick and died; at the same time, lime powder was spread, and many checkpoints were set up on village roads and alleys with the disease.
The Do Luong district government has also continuously issued announcements that African swine fever is currently continuing to develop complicatedly, so the Party committees and authorities of communes and towns need to be active in inspecting and propagating to raise awareness among households, proactively clean barns to prevent disease, and not enter or leave epidemic areas to avoid spreading.
Professional agencies recommend that people regularly monitor their pig herds. If they detect signs of disease, they should quickly report it to professional agencies for timely treatment.
