Do Luong: Frank self-criticism, serious rectification.
(Baonghean) - The implementation of party member self-criticism according to Central Resolution 4 (12th Congress) was seriously organized by the Do Luong District Party Committee, thereby proposing reasonable solutions to address shortcomings.

Prior to conducting the review in accordance with Resolution No. 4 of the 12th Central Committee, the Do Luong District Party Committee held numerous meetings, specifically evaluating each collective and individual, and established 10 working groups to guide 73 grassroots Party organizations in implementing the review. The District Party Committee also issued Notice No. 420-TB/HU dated March 1, 2017, suggesting specific issues for review for 13 collectives and 37 individuals under the management of the District Party Committee Standing Committee.
Although propaganda and guidance work is carried out regularly, when it comes to implementation, some organizations and individuals are not truly resolute, and some Party branches even fail to prepare thoroughly before conducting self-criticism, showing signs of being "superficial and perfunctory".
In light of this situation, the district's working groups intensified inspections and supervision; for example, the 5a Party Branch in Nam Son commune had inadequate preparation, so the District Party Committee requested that it be redone and that the review be conducted later. To date, the review of organizations and individuals in accordance with Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (12th Congress) of the Nam Son commune Party Committee has been completed.
Through self-criticism, the Party Committee of Nam Son commune identified 17 manifestations, and the Party Committee Executive Board identified 15 manifestations in two groups of issues: "ideology and politics" and "morality and lifestyle". Regarding individuals, through self-criticism, the comrade identified at least 6 out of 27 manifestations and at most 14 out of 27 manifestations.
Comrade Nguyen Huu Duc – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Son commune, added: “Party branches and individual Party members who still conduct general self-criticism are required to supplement their self-criticism reports and seek collective opinions to clearly identify shortcomings. All identified issues are categorized into groups, and appropriate solutions and plans are developed to address them, prioritizing issues that need immediate correction and establishing a roadmap for other shortcomings…”

According to Comrade Thai Van Hoan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Thinh Son commune, the Party Committee and 18 Party branches in the commune have completed the self-criticism process in accordance with Resolution No. 4 of the 12th Central Committee. The Standing Committee of the Party Committee is currently compiling dossiers and classifying manifestations to guide, supervise, and inspect the implementation of rectification. During this process, emphasis is placed on urging cadres and Party members who lack enthusiasm for their assigned tasks; linking this with rectifying administrative discipline and improving the quality of cadres, civil servants, and mass organizations in the commune.
To date, Do Luong district has completed the review of Party organizations and Party members in accordance with Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee (12th term). The shortcomings have been specifically identified in a spirit of self-awareness and exemplary conduct, following the correct top-down process.
According to the assessment of District Party Secretary Truong Hong Phuc, the review process has shown that Party organizations have overcome the tendency to show deference, avoid confrontation, or misuse self-criticism and criticism to suppress or attack each other, causing internal disunity. This stems from the understanding of each organization and individual that this review is for correction and improvement, contributing to better fulfillment of assigned tasks.
“Some comrades have shown dissatisfaction with their assigned positions within the organization, or have exhibited signs of working half-heartedly, lacking discipline in their speech, or shirking responsibility, and engaging in right-wing criticism. These issues have been thoroughly analyzed and addressed immediately; other manifestations have been included in the regular action plan. The Do Luong District Party Committee will continue to maintain working groups and urge Party branches to implement corrective and remedial work following the review according to Central Resolution 4 (12th Congress) in a more practical manner,” emphasized District Party Secretary Truong Hong Phuc.
