Do Luong holds a seminar to commemorate the 70th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 29th, Do Luong district solemnly organized a seminar to commemorate the 70th anniversary of National Day (September 2nd, 1945 - September 2nd, 2015).

Attending the event were former district leaders from various periods who have retired, senior officers of the armed forces, representatives from various agencies and departments, and officials from communes and towns.

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the glorious revolutionary traditions over the past 70 years, highlighting the significance, importance, and historical role of National Day on September 2nd.

Throughout the glorious history of the nation, the Party Committee and people of Do Luong district have endured countless hardships, sacrifices, and losses. In the struggle to build and defend the Fatherland, many generations of Do Luong's children have made immense contributions to regaining independence and freedom for the nation.

Building upon their heroic traditions in combat and their diligence and hard work in labor and production, the cadres and people of Do Luong are embarking on the task of building a more prosperous homeland.

Particularly in the movement to build new rural areas, the goal is to have 8 communes meet the new rural area standards by the end of 2015.

In the coming period, Do Luong district will focus all resources on attracting investment to develop the commercial service system and form service centers, making Do Luong the center of the southwestern mountainous midland districts of Nghe An province.
