Do Luong won the 'Lam River tradition' tournament

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of May 21, at Tuyen Son Sports Complex, Da Nang City, the final and closing match of the 5th "Song Lam Traditional" football tournament - 2017 took place.

The “Lam River Traditional” Football Tournament is for children from Nghe An and Ha Tinh who are living, studying and working in Da Nang and surrounding areas. This year, the tournament is held in mid-May, as an activity to celebrate the 127th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s birthday.

Participating in this tournament are 18 teams from the following hometown associations: Nghi Xuan - Duc Tho, Tan Ky, Quy Hop, Hoang Mai, Yen Thanh, Vinh, Quynh Luu, Ky Anh, Dien Chau, Do Luong, Nghi Loc, Cua Lo, Hung Nguyen, Thanh Chuong, Nghia Dan, Thai Hoa, Huong Son, Huong Khe, Anh Son, Can Loc, Thach Ha, Cam Xuyen. The teams are divided into 4 groups, competing in a round robin to score points.

The tournament started on May 10. After more than 10 days of exciting competition with many attractive matches, the tournament ended with the final match between Do Luong and Ky Anh teams with a score of 6-0. Do Luong team was honored to win the first prize, Ky Anh team won the second prize, Thach Ha - Ha Tinh team won the third prize, the best player was Sy Hung of Tan Ky team, goalkeeper Thuc Diep of Do Luong team won the best goalkeeper award, the top scorer was Doan Nam of Do Luong team (scored 9 goals).

The "traditional Lam River" football tournament is held annually to create a healthy and useful playground, connecting Nghe An people living and studying in Da Nang and neighboring areas.
