In the first 6 months of 2016 alone, the entire district mobilized over 224 billion VND, of which 161 billion VND was from the State budget, 54 billion VND was from people's contributions, and the remaining capital was mobilized from other sources. Many communes mobilized large resources such as Hong Son, Xuan Son, Dong Son, Trung Son. People contributed over 37,000 working days and donated over 22,124 m2 of land to build new rural areas.

In the coming time, the district will focus on directing 8 communes of Luu Son, Xuan Son, Trang Son, Lac Son, Boi Son, Dang Son, Dong Son, Trung Son to complete 19/19 new rural criteria in 2016. For the remaining communes, the district requires each commune to strive to achieve 4-5 new criteria in 2016. The goal by 2020 is for the district to achieve 26 new rural communes.

Promote investment attraction

Investment attraction activities are being promoted by Do Luong with the goal of becoming a dynamic economic zone of the province. After more than 4 years of operation, up to now, Prex Vinh Garment Company with 100% foreign investment capital of KIDO Group of Korea has built a massive production facility on a campus of 70,000 m2. The company's products include sportswear, leather clothing, heat-resistant clothing exported to the US and Eastern European markets.

Mr. Le Chu Tu - Manager of Prex Vinh Garment Company said: With 2 garment factories invested in modern and advanced infrastructure, the company exports over 2 million products annually with a revenue of nearly 300 billion VND/year. Currently, the company is creating jobs for nearly 5,000 workers in the region and neighboring districts such as Yen Thanh, Anh Son, Tan Ky, Thanh Chuong with an average salary of 3 - 8 million VND/person/month.

Thuong Son Industrial Cluster has attracted 7 households to invest in production, With VINA Co., Ltd. (Lac Son Industrial Cluster) with 100% Korean capital has a revenue of 7 billion VND/year. The small industrial cluster of Do Luong town (7.8 ha) alone has attracted 13 enterprises to invest in stable production of key products such as construction materials, wooden furniture, electronics, creating jobs for nearly 600 rural workers. Many enterprises have created new growth in the market such as Truong An Co., Ltd., Nguyen Nghia Co., Ltd.

In the coming time, Do Luong district will focus on attracting effective investment in Lac Son industrial cluster, calling for investment in Thuong Son industrial cluster, continuing to request additional authority approval, planning Hoa Son industrial cluster when Song Lam 2 Cement Factory comes into operation, speeding up the completion of Cau Dau urban planning project, calling for investors to plan the urban area in the South of the town, building a commercial center in the North opposite the town industrial cluster, planning towns and townships approved by the Provincial People's Committee. The goal is to strive for the district to have all the elements to become a town by 2020.
