On November 5, the Criminal Police Department of Ha Nam Province Police said it had just caught red-handed Nguyen Duc Hiep (born 2000), residing in Hamlet 16, But Son Village, Thanh Son Commune, Kim Bang District, for the crime ofextortion.

Previously, on November 4, a resident in Hamlet 10, Thi Son Commune, Kim Bang District (Ha Nam) received a report from a person who sent a threatening text message with a video of her entering a motel with a stranger, demanding that she pay him 50 million VND or he would use this video to give to her husband, and print flyers to distribute and post on social networks to affect her honor and work...
After receiving the report, using professional measures, the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police caught Nguyen Duc Hiep red-handed appropriating 15 million VND from the victim at a motel in Le Hong Phong ward, Phu Ly city.
Seized evidence includes: 15 million VND, 02 mobile phones and all the threatening text messages...
Currently, the Police Department is continuing to investigate and clarify….
