Reporting on propaganda work in 2021 and the first 3 months of 2022 in Nghe An province, the representative of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department affirmed that the Propaganda Department of Nghe An province has focused on overcoming difficulties, closely following the leadership and direction of the Central Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, proactively, actively, and unitedly striving to successfully complete all assigned political tasks.

The Propaganda Department has proactively advised Party committees to organize the study, dissemination and implementation of resolutions of Party congresses at all levels and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic; the work of political theory and Party history, implementing Directive 05; protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting and refuting false and hostile information and viewpoints continues to be innovated and improved in quality.

In addition, the propaganda team in the whole province also strengthens the orientation of cultural and artistic activities, improves the spiritual life of the people; synchronously and effectively deploys information, propaganda, press - publishing, foreign information work, improves the quality and effectiveness of consulting on science and education work, actively advises the Party Committee to lead and direct propaganda fields...

The report also pointed out and clarified the causes leading to a number of limitations and weaknesses in the past, such as the organization of studying and thoroughly grasping resolutions and directives at some grassroots Party committees and Party cells was not of good quality; the effectiveness of propaganda at some grassroots units in some fields was not high quality; the work of combating peaceful evolution plots and protecting the Party's ideological foundation at some grassroots levels was not sharp.

The results of some contents in the fields of science and education have not met the requirements; the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW in some units is still heavy on formality; the coordination work to resolve some cases that cause public outrage between the Propaganda Department and other levels and sectors is sometimes lacking in synchronization and effectiveness is not high...

From practical work, the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee recommends the Central Propaganda Department the following contents: Compile a curriculum for new party members and party members according to the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; Need to stipulate mechanisms and policies for the reporting team at commune, ward and town levels; Timely orient sensitive issues so that the Propaganda Departments of provinces and cities can serve as a basis for orienting the people; Unify the theme of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style every year throughout the country; guide and have a clear and strict mechanism in licensing and managing electronic information pages.

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Tran Thanh Lam - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department highly appreciated the positive results in propaganda work in Nghe An province, which was implemented synchronously and effectively, with many new features, good models, and creative ways of doing things, contributing to bringing resolutions into life faster and more promptly. In particular, he praised the coordination between forces and "arms" of journalism, publishing, literature, and art in the province.

The Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department requested the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and other agencies and units to continue to closely follow the key tasks that have been deployed by the Central Propaganda Department since the beginning of the year to concretize them to suit the practical situation in the locality.
